The way you zip tied the battery pack, the batteries cannot be changed. Needs cable ties.

You can use little girls clear hair rubber bands instead of zip ties on your leaves 🍃 you can buy them at dollar stores really inexpensive.

It may be because of the thickness of your mesh. I use LED lights because they tend to be much more brighter and can penetrate the mesh to shine.
