How to Make a Live-Edge Table from a Rough Slab

Back in May I got my hands on this gorgeous log of boxelder maple that was rough cut and wet, right off the sawmill. Using a very dry room, stickers, and a fan (and the "gift" of living in dry ol' Ohio) we were able to dry it out in just 8ish months. I've been meaning to turn it one of the slabs into a coffee table since I got them, and I finally got around to it. Hopefully you enjoy the process of seeing rough wood like that turn into some gorgeous functional art!

now you just have to route a channel around the bottom and add a rgb LED strip and controller lol.

Did you treat the copper so it won't tarnish? Or oxidation will that become part of the tables charm?
