BSD.U got me into lofi. A lot of adult swim and their bumps got me into that stuff as well. Flying Lotus's message situation was a big one as well. It was stuff I'd listen to after playing at the park with friends in the summer, turn on the Toshiba and watch aquateen hunger force, Inuyasha, family guy, robot chicken, etc. 2004 to 2010 was really were that time shined.

Please do a introduction and tutorial on the og 404 I can only find sx tips. I know it's not a huge difference but with the Roland signature func and shift it's different enough to keep me from learning the dang thing in any depth

There's not much to go over that wouldn't be a part of any SX info video, other than the vinyl sim and few other things. There may be sp303 info videos that go more in depth on the effect. There's also the classic "samiyam eats a pomegranate" interview where he shows examples of his arrangements on the OG

@@K_Toshino it's part of the vinyl sim effect, the wow / stutter amount. If you jiggle it like seen in the video you'll get a real nice subtle sound
