hi bud im using soft wood but i would use hard wood if possible as it lasts longer its just more exspensive

is your season open tom. my season just ended. we fish a 2 month season here. I get 20.000 to 25.000 pound seasons here and get 4 dollars a pound here.

ye it's open season a lot of lads can catch 100 to 200 lb a day in peak season probably a lot more on the big boats and your prices are about the same they can reach £9 a pound in winter so thats about $13 but they but they don't catch that many then theres some lads with thousands of pots off here the smaller boats just a couple of hundered it all depends really
