I found your channel from a search on microgreens but Im intrigued and I will be growing produce kratky style. I have already transplanted some I had started as microgreens into kratky buckets with materials I already have at home! Ps. I have been bingewatching your videos for 3 days. So much value here. Thankyou sir!

I’m the same as you it’s hard to digest all the information at once so I keep binge watching over and over again too so I can try and keep all the information in my head. It’s sooo straight forward, and he’s so easy to listen to and he’s very convincing that anyone can do it! It’s true anyone can do it, me the person where plants used to come to die but I now use hydroponics and not only am I not killing them anymore they are growing and thriving and it’s AWESOME!!🥰🙏🏻🇨🇦

I just started watching U-tube. I had ordered books on the Kratky method.and mentioned it to friends. They said to look it up on U-tube. So, Then I was looking it up and found your channel. It was easy to subscribe to, I love it! I am a senior on a limited budget and want to grow my own food. I did order a Aero garden to grow 3 herbs and then I put a tomato seed in and it did AWESOME! The tomatoes tasted great! SO, I am addicted to your channel now and Binging so many of your video's. In the Green Bay Area bakery's and Grocery stores (with a bakery) near me sell 3 gallon buckets for 1.25! Amazing and I am buying them when I stop in the stores near me. I want to get more into micro greens. Thank you for helping us get more healthy and have fun while doing it. I am grateful to you and your wife for putting these videos on. I even bought a drill and the attachment to drill holes in the bucket. My apartment will look like a plant jungle I hope! Spring is around the corner so then they can go outside. One question is I have many squirrels and rabbits around. Have you had rabbits eating your food? It is outside. I am thinking of keeping an empty bucket of water on the bottom so they don't eat my food. LOL 2 Buckets high should keep them away. God Bless you and thank you for your channel. I appreciate all the trial and error and the dedication you have to helping us grow our own food.

@@KeepOnGrowin I hope you do some videos because you’re thorough for beginners, explaining LED lights and specific fertilizer; I’m confused, I thought that micro-greens didn’t need light ?! And I’m curious to know what kind of fertilizer you use, and what nutrients you use in the water. Thanks !! ; )

I’m confused. So, someone would need sprouting tops for micro greens before you plant it in the plastic tray …. ? How long do they sit in a mason jar for ?

You don't have to, they just germinate better.

can you use any pea seeds for this project? THanks for sharing great content here - Bren in Ohio!

Hey Bren, hope you are doing well. Yes, jist about any work, it is just cheaper if you get them for microgreens. The seed packets usually don't have too many in them.

Is the ramen container that you poked holes in the same height as the ramen container that you set it in? Like is it the exact same container as the container it rests in where you add the water? Or is the inner container a little shorter, so it sits a little bit above the floor of the container it nests in? If so, how much shorter?
@KeepOnGrowin2 ай бұрын
yes, most of them are. A few brands are a little different but they work too.
