I have found that most meshes can be lightly ironed with a warm iron set to, I think it's called synthetic. I place a paper towel or parchment paper on top of the mesh, just in case I get my iron too hot and press the mesh flat. This method works great on the mesh that's close to the end of the roll since that area seems to curl so tightly. I have pressed the poly burlap, regular deco mesh, and fabric mesh. During trial and error, I have melted some of the mesh, but just cut the heat back a little and continue ironing the mesh. This is especially helpful to re-use mesh from older projects that either did not sell or some that I was just not happy with and tore them back apart. I hope this is helpful to some of your viewers, especially since mesh is expensive. happy crafting!!

Thank you for watching! I am going to try a different “petal” to see if I can get that fluffy look. I also prefer them to look soft, but I really don’t want the mesh to fray too much, either.
@kimokerstrom581

You can get a frayless look from the deco mesh if you use the cutting knife on a woodburning tool and seal them as you cut them off. It slices with the heat and seals as it cuts eliminating the fray! Give it a try. @@crookedtreecreations

Hello my husband and I found you on KZbin and watched you make the angel wings and he said do you think you can do that? I said well it’s been along time but I’m willing to try. He said try to get ahold of you to see what you thought? ! Now my husband is so sick and dying in the hospital he’s on a vent and he’s not doing well and on March the 12 we will be married for 25 years now. He is much older than me so I want to think about what you think about buying everything from you and possibly doing it all myself 😢but I don’t want to mess up . And his son just literally passed away from a fentanyl overdose so he was down and weak from that but he said right before he got sick he said I should get the grave smaller set of wings ! I don’t have any craft supplies near me so I probably need to buy from you ? Or you can tell me what kinda mesh and flowers and stuff for them bc we do have a Michaels 50 minutes away tho . But I know you are my favorite person on here ! I hope to here back from you I’m sorry I been crying and a mess! 😢I do have a cross that I can do if you have the supplies to sell ? I’m sorry for bothering you but I hope to hear from you soon ty

Hi there! I’m so sorry for the loss of your husband’s son and that’s so sad that he’s very sick. Hugs to you! I’m sure you can make these yourself! It’s pretty easy, but it takes a long time, which means lots of patience! If you want, I can make a kit with all of the supplies you’ll need. Just let me know what color flowers you’d like. Reach out to me any time! Hugs, Patti
