This is so appealing because of the great contours. I really enjoyed watching how you spaced out the distribution of the mosses. Wherever you look, there is plenty to keep your interest. I remember seeing mosses in America that had red stems growing up above the leaves. Do you ever use other colors of moss?
I just looked it up. It’s called red stemmed feather moss. I wonder if it grows in Japan??

Good question! I'm also curious about it. I've seen someone using aquarium plants & moss for a paludarium, planting them out of water but in very wet conditions. Can they possibly survive for a long time like this?

Actually many of them can also grow emers. Also a "dry start method" can be used to start moss (and others) growing on hard scape before adding water in the tank which often gives a more natural look
