How to Make a Motorcycle Diaper Cake Tutorial (step by step instructions) DIY baby shower gifts

I found this idea in my Woman's World magazine.
You'll need 34 size 1 Pampers Swaddlers
2 large rubber bands
1-1/2 yards of 2" ribbon
2 bibs
1 sippy cup (it is the headlight)
2 receiving blankets
2 toy that has a ring on it
1 pair of socks
1 medium to large sized animal
pins, scissors
I know some of you will ask where I got the animal. I got it from a KZbin friend who lives in Spain but it seems like perhaps it was made at a "Build A Bear" store because it has a little voice box inside of it that has a recording on it.
Transport it on a cake box type thing. It will need readjustment when you arrive to your baby shower!

I love it!!! I've once made a diaper tricycle. Here in Holland we mostely gives our gifts when the baby is born. We normally don't give babyshowers. So i've made my trictcle with Pampers Newborn size 3, so the new parent's don't have to use them right away. For keeping the ribbon together i used hoy glue. I've put a piece of paper under the ribbo. so the glue wouldn't stick to the diapers and removed it later.

Hi I have a suggestion for carrying it to the party. When i'm finished making a diaper cake i wrap the entire cake in cellaphane putting a bow at the top to make sure nothing falls out or falls. you just put the entire cake/ or bike including the board on a really big piece of cellaphane and collect the cellaphane at the top and put on a bow:)

I transport all my diaper cakes on picture frames. They are rry sturdy and go great with the gift bc the mom will need picture frames for snapshots of baby. Also for my diaper motorcycles i pin the animals hands to the handle bars so it doesnt fall off. I havr become pretty good at it so i can now hide the pins pretty well so it still looks nice :)

Apparently the crybabies complaining about safety pins didn’t know that safety pins were used for washable cloth diapers (and some parents still choose to use them) ... you know ... before the disposable diapers took over. You were great, thank You for this tutorial.
