Very interesting, thank you for posting. Do you know if a porcupine quill could be used as a needle? Also, how would one bore an eye in a bone needle without an iron tool?

I wonder if snake rib bones would make sharp hook needles, I don’t recall ever seeing any.

Their bones are really really delicate. I doubt they'e hold up to being used like that.
