How to Make a NO CUTTER Sugar Succulent: Easy Gumpaste Tutorial

In this easy KZbin tutorial, you will learn how to make a NO CUTTERS sugar/gumpaste succulent - instead using your hands to shape the leaves (ball tool optional).
You will also be presented with information on how to scale up and make an even larger version of this sugar craft succulent, or scale it down to make a smaller version. You also have the option of creating a 'fuller' sugar paste succulent as indicated.
Begin by creating the center then use the appropriately sized pieces of sugar/gumpaste to create your leaves. Add a bit of variation to your sugar craft succulent leaves as indicated as well.
When you tape your sugar paste creation, you will follow a simple and east guide, not having to worry about adding a specific number of succulent leaves or in a certain manner - with only one 'rule' of adding leaves from smallest to largest if you will.

I'm a bit confused what the directions mean by divide into 3 when making the leaves? As in like if I take a 1/2 inch ball of gumpaste does that make 3 leaves? So if I start with the 5/16 inch ball does that make 3 leaves?
