beautiful, it was explained in great detail. it was nice to see a demo that showed working with full length cords not a two foot sample piece.

I love this collar! But I'm not sure how to do with the dark blue, do you cut it or I need to blue pieces that are longer then the other colors?

If I need a collar that’s 18 inches how long should the cord be?

Sorry, I didnt understand the measurements for the cord. What do you mean by "1 ft per 1 inch in length"? When I translate to my language that doesn't make sense as that is not how we would describe it

Thanks for the great video! Live this pattern!

Did it all at the measured length, then had to add an extra inch and a half to make it fit properly - nice collar though!

Hello Paracordingaround, what is the name of this paracord knot? I'm relatively new to paracording and I'm trying to learn as much as I can, I've only done solomon knot bracelets previously. I haven't seen this knot anywhere else, I really like how it looks.

Hi, it's called Luna's fly trap.

Hi, I’d be grateful if you’d explain what you mean by “keep going” at 13 mins 54. Which row do I do next? Is it a three or four row repeat? I guess I can work it out but it’d be really user friendly if you named the iterations and say repeat from …. Or a as/from x seconds into the video. I do hope that makes sense - it’s supposed to be constructive. I’m in the middle of making it after all ❤

How many centimeters is the final size of the collar and how many meters of rope of each color you used?
@Paracordingaround3 жыл бұрын
Hi, I made a 35 cm collar, and used 3 x 4 metre strands and 1 x 6 metre strands. I had some leftover cord. if you are unsure I always recommend adding some extra length😊

So, if I need a collar that’s 18 inches, how long should the cord be? 😮
@judysweeny1203 Жыл бұрын
18 inch collar the cord would be 1’ per 18 inches (12 x 18 = 216) For Inches long) and the other would be 1.25’ per inch in length (12.5x18= 225 long.) 216 inches For three cords 225 inches for one cord Correct?
@DeviousToaster Жыл бұрын
you can also add an extra foot to whatever measurement for "just in case" moments or if you think it might be too short, the only downside is possible extra waste on the end to cut off - the VERY IMPORTANT PART is making sure the core two-strand-double-cow's-hitch bracelet bit is measured properly to the pet so it's big enough. we made ours 2 inches larger than the pets neck, and it STILL shrunk from 18 in to 16 by the end - we estimate adding about 1in per every 10 inches to account for it. so in short - use extra length if you're worried for the weave, and DEFINITELY use a bit more length for the collar core

!!BE WARNED!! our family spent about 2 weeks to braid a 17.5 in collar for the dog, but NOWHERE in this vid did it warn or mention how much shrink would occur after measuring the original cows hitch buckle tutorial stuff. we made the length of collar fit the dog PERFECTLY with plenty of loose area with the skeleton of this build, but once weaving these cords in, it shrunk almost 2 inches, now won't fit and chokes the dog. calculating it up roughly, add about 1 inch per every 10 inches to account for how much the thing will shrink just from weaving it up. !!USING THIS GUIDE PER INSTRUCTIONS WILL MAKE A POTENTIALLY DANGEROUSLY TIGHT COLLAR, BE AWARE!!
