The secret, or rather secrets, of a perfect sponge cake ❓
I'm happy to share them with you:👍🏼
1/ Prepare your ingredients and have them to hand 🤚 to be as quick as possible when making the sponge to avoid it falling over.
2/ Do not stop your food processor/electric mixer while you are making the sponge 😝
3/ Bake directly after finishing at 170Cº for 40 minutes. The sponge should cook slowly at a temperature that is not very hot to prevent it from falling when it comes out of the oven 🔥
4/ Poke with a skewer to check for doneness, it should come out without any marks.
