I started rolling CS at lvl 6 when I didn’t get a skill after a level,I’m lvl16 with 16 skills. Should I keep rerolling CS onward or should I wait like 2-3 lvls and start the CS reroll again?

I found this too late, my pegasus is already 30, but it didn't go that bad, i have every skill except s hind kick s front kick and s sideways and one more that's not important at all, I'm quite happy on how it turned out, but I still used 2 or 3 mount skill change coupons to get the regular sideways...

Using a Reset Mount Growth coupon to try this will also reset speed, accel, turn, and brake. What mastery would you recommend before attempting this to get those 4 stats high?

Mastery has nothing to do with that. It's specifically stated in the game what Mastery does.

hey Choice i love your bdo guides. Ive been playing this game since January of 2022. Made myself a 62 season character. Now ive managed to save up for a T9 horse. How should I look at horses from the market i mean what must have skills should a Doom or a Dine have or their minimum lv 30 stats? ill appreciate any input on this matter. thank you

When buying a horse always get one that has every skill preferably, but if it lacks forechop or hindkick that's fine. A great doom is 155+ speed, average is around 150.3. Peggy is 162+, avg 157.8. uni is 157+, avg 153.3. so I'd look on the market and see the skills, if it's 25/25 cool, if it's 23/25 check if it's only missing forechop/hind. Never buy a horse missing s:sideways or s:instant those are very hard to reroll for.

He misspoke. He meant when your level outpaces your skills by about 2 to 3, as skills can never outpace level by more than 1.

Wait, so the optimal start for unlearn Courser's Spirit is around lv 18 with 15 skills. But how can I be sure if my horse is learning 15 skills before lv 18? Is there a chance it will not learn enough skills? Isn't it better if I use Skill Change Coupons for each level of the horse, but with 100% chance of having all 24 skills?

You can't guarantee that you will be level 18 with 15 skills. Most of the time you'll probably be something like level twenty with seventeen skills. There's no point in rolling every level because it's virtually guaranteed doing this method, so it just saves on having to use soooo many reroll coupons. I just made a perfect t9 a week ago for 5 reroll coupons

Yo would appreciate some insight. I'm a very very casual player, one of those that from time to time I hop back in to the game to check the news, characters, events, season, etc. This time around they gave the amazing dream horse I never once had, for free, to which I picked the pegasus since I do a lot of questing when lvling in season, and it would ease me when going through the map. Still, I started wondering if I should have picked the Dine for valencia main questline struggles, so I thought about trying to make my very first own dream horse since I didn't want to spend my casual 13B balance on one. Long story short, I had a lot of free mats, grabbed one of my t8 courser's and at 15 attempts I got Dine. Saw this video (Thank you for the valuable info), lvled him afk until lvl 18(15skills, exact same as your vid) and did the change skill coupon trick. Didn't got S:Sideways, so I lvled one more lvl and quick stop came instead. Since courser's spirit didn't pop, I rerolled caution and courser's spirit came up, in frustration I rerolled 3 more times between courser's spirit and caution and at the 4th reroll I got S: Sideways. Now, I was wondering if I messed up anything with your skill optimization process, or should I keep lvling normally one lvl at time and rerolling for the missing courser's skills(s: instant accel, drift, charge, sideways) the same way? I'm not very aware of the horse system, but I believe you can only get new skills up to lvl 30 and 24 skills max, correct? Sorry for the long comment, ty in advance!

Don't know if you're done with your horsie yet but keep levelling until horsie re-learn courser spirit again and then use coupon. Your horsie should re-learn that skill very soon so don't worry. Don't use your coupons on other skills

sure if u can even get to that stage in the first place. im at like 50% chance to gain skills, reset my pegasus once, on to 2nd attempt now with 9 coupons (am not using it until i can guarantee). I havent been able to get to the stage where i can start using my coupons to guarantee all skills. im reguarly at like lvl 20 with 12 skills remaining.

How did you make a Doom? That’s the one I want to eventually make. All I know about making Dream Horses is you need a tier 8 courser horse, certain amount of these special materials, and failstacks and Crown Stones. What failstacks did you use? And how many of the materials do you need for an attempt?

@@Mindwipe96 Some misconceptions here. So theres 3 different types of materials, which will increase the odds of your T8 horse becoming either a Pegasus, Doom or Unicorn. The failstacks only go up naturally as you fail, you dont get to use fs for the horse. The amount of materials you need for an attempt differ greatly, but you need to reach 200% on the courser training window and have a krogdalos seal + 100 crons (you dont need crons but you will want to use as its 100 crons to only lose half the materials you put in).

I believe Horses can only learn skills up to level 30 so it wont gain anything after level 30 apart from out leveling monsters so eventually monsters wont attack your horse randomly

Yes there is no guarantee unless you do this method. It's actually quite uncommon to get all skills on a horse, S:Sideways in particular is very rare without this method

I think you wasted more skill coupons than required on average. I typically push horse levels till I hit 1 level "buffer" and only then start using coupons. Averaging 4 coupons per horse.

@@ahmadfadelyusuf4003 I think what he means is that at level 18 if you have 15 skills, you only need 10 more to cap out (assuming cap of 25) but have 12 levels in which to get them. So you have a buffer of 2 levels. He could have gone to level 19 with 15 skills and still had a buffer of 1 level. This extra level gives you one more free roll before you start spending coupons. 4 coupons per horse seems low, but I haven't done this yet so if that's all it takes, then that's great!

sometimes your horse will learn another skill outside of coursers spirit, in that case, you got a new skill and you keep training until the next level. the odds are basically guaranteed that if you dont have the spirit skill, upon leveling up, you will learn some other skill, or coursers spirit at least.
