Hi! A tip: When you're about to put your hardware, just staple your two ends together. You will not see it at all once your hardware is in, and it will for sure not move at all. Great video!

That’s such a great idea! I didn’t even think of that. Thank you!

This is how I do it as well with two little changes. I always add a heat transfer vinyl to the back of the faux leather band and then sew a line of topstich 1/8" from both edges to make it look more professional and finished. I sell these 10$/1 or 2 for $15.

I like those changes - great idea!

I've been wanting to do this, but I have a explore air 2 and have been afraid to do it on that machine. Somebody told me I would need a deep cut blade to make them on the air 2. I was just going to cut thr leather out by hand and make the words/designs on my explore. Now that I know I can do it on the air 2 I'm going to try to make it. Thanks for the video. Love your videos

How do they hold up over time?
@littlecraftnest3 ай бұрын
So far they are holding up. But with anything there will be normal wear and tear depending on how much it’s used.

Thank you for this video! Do you have a reference guide that might be printable to know what glitter setting to use to cut?

Thank you! I used hot glue on my first faux leather project and it was soooo bumpy! I have fabric glue and the E6000 and will definitely be using one or the other!!!

Hello, Love the font how did you download? I tried but can’t get it to come up in Cricut. Thanks.
@littlecraftnest Жыл бұрын
If you downloaded the font while Design Space is still open you won’t see it. Exit out of DS and then reopen it and you should see it. This video may be helpful kzbin.info/www/bejne/Z6nVZJ5rppZ0bKM

The leather doesn't stick to any mat, not even a new one, I had to use tape to keep it steady and then it worked out just fine
@littlecraftnest Жыл бұрын
It could depend on the type of leather you are using. Tape is always a good option. Also if the texture of your leather is different on the top then the bottom try flipping it over to see if it sticks better on the other side. Glad you figured it out. Happy crafting!
