True, I've been working to dispel the "aged alnico magnet marketing myth for a few years now. I have invested lots of money in gauss meters and have checked Fender and Gibson magnets all the way back to the 1950's. Their charge can be affected by strong magnetic fields but that doesnt really happen to guitars much in the real world.

@Mo7Vsta Black outs and EMG's are made the same way but with more wire and higher magnatisim. The only difference is that it has a cover which helps out the magnet and strings magnetic field, to produce a higher output.
