You have to highlight the cells you want in the pie chart, then click the insert button. For example, on 2:28, you see how all the cell's he wants in the pie chart are selected?

I've found the videos very helpful. For the Office 365 for free it appears that you do not have access to all the excel features. Example you cannot customize your Quick access tool bar or get the same view of the pivot data in the purchased version. Is that correct?
