You don’t iron the zip at all. I’ve seen a few tutorials where they don’t iron the zipper flat and the end result is fantastic and you save yourself more time. I find that when you iron the zip it’s more harder to keep it straight

I did iron it slightly and I had no problems whatsoever. I guess it's a matter of preference.

I stress out badly when I’m sewing, I get frustrated, I suffer pain in my neck due to a car accident but I persist. The two cushion covers that I did today turned out great. I took my time with them. I need to breathe more 😂

@@AllieSewCrafty yes I too have now returned to ironing it slightly. I made the mistake of ironing too much and the zipper just curled up 😂
