Hey good question so this is where I get mines from! www.empireabrasives.com/sanding-belts/ But as far as the grit goes I use 36 to make the pendant even then I use 400 grit for the polish look! I highly recommend you give it a try

That's definitely an interesting way to do it, seems like you put more effort into the pendants than you need, try using super glue on the top to hold the pendant together instead of resin that you spend a long time sanding off

Can you just slice the pinecone if you receive them closed? Without having to soak and stuff?
@NaturaIsDreaming Жыл бұрын
Yes! So what I didn’t mention is that with knobcones you can don’t have to do any of that soaking & the resin stuff. The reason why I did it in this video is because this is the kind of pinecones you can find in the streets.. trust me the Knobcone is your best best! In this video this reason why I did that is so the pinecones can close. When it comes to resin you cannot have any form of moisture or liquid. It will ruin everything. You need to capture the closed pinecones before it’s too late😞 Guess what the consequences are!?? The pinecones will open back up!😱😱😱
