Please feel free to check out my video tutorials on KZbin (for example, you can watch this one: kzbin.info/www/bejne/apiodnyrgrZjfqcsi=ug3t2wTHdR4K3Y2I). This thread was bought from a local store. It's the same quality as the ones on Amazon, but I don't know there you can find the exact colors. Try searching on ebay or aliexpress because they are all comes from China... 0.55 to 0.65mm...

It wasn’t fast... believe me... I was filming 01:00 am 🕐, so I couldn’t do any punching and disturb my neighbours...😂 it’s really hard to do leather crafting and try not to make any noise... 😅 the press tool is quite, but not faster that punching. How did you get the press-stud on the flap to fit through the 3 thicknesses of leather? It doesn't look like the shaft/post reaches all the way through to the spring part of it.
@EleanaWorkshop2 жыл бұрын
They are not thick layers of leather so the snap can be attached without problem. Make sure to open 4mm diameter hole.
@Jer08679 ай бұрын
11:10 There is NO way that stem fits through those 3 layers of leather. It is simply impossible, using the fittings shown in the video (which are the same ones I have). What thickness is the leather in the video, and how long is the stem on that fastener? I'd like to get this pattern, but there is no point if I cannot find fasteners to fit! @@EleanaWorkshop

From a local store in Greece. It's common vegan tanned leather 1,8mm, you can find it everywhere.🙂

11:14 The fitting CLEARLY does not fit through the 3 layers of leather, so how did you get it to fasten??
@EleanaWorkshop9 ай бұрын
Thank you for your comment! I understand it might seem that way, but I assure you that the fitting is designed to work with the specific type and thickness of leather I used in the video. It might not be evident in the footage, but I made sure to select materials that allow for a secure and functional fit. If you have any specific questions about the process or materials, feel free to ask. I'm here to help clarify any concerns. 😊

Be wary of buying patterns here; some of the videos appear to show certain fittings being used on (say) a wallet. However, if you look closely...and if you actually try it yourself...the fittings she CLAIMS to work, actually clearly do not fit! I find this deceitful and dishonest, especially when she does not properly answer questions about the problem.
@EleanaWorkshop8 ай бұрын
Oh, I see you're a true detective, meticulously inspecting every video! It can be frustrating when things don't seem to add up, but hey, let me provide you with a video link that CLEARLY demonstrates how the fittings I mentioned do work as claimed. So, here's the link to my video: kzbin.infoSJ784PNtZDI I believe actions speak louder than words and in proving that what I say can actually be done.
