I started Voice acting self taught since 2012 and ngl, i was into Comic dubs than Podfics. For Video editing, i used Imovie for mac and for windows, Adobe premire pro.

Do you have any tips if you’ve found a fic that you really like but want to make one, there’s one that I’ve been wanting to do for ages, but I have no clue how to get in touch with the author

You'd have to see if the author has any social media listed on whatever site you found them on, or take their username and search like Twitter, Tumblr, etc to see if they have a profile there.
