How to make a Pond Prowler trolling motor mount

In this video I show how to make a custom front mounting bracket to attach a trolling motor to a small fishing boat. This mount is made for a Pond Prowler, but is easily adapted to other tiny boats.

I just had one made but mine sets at an angle with a bow mount whitesnake foot controlled pedal, and it looks awesome. Made with aluminum plate weighs about 6 pounds attached to the front bow transum and angles to the left and attatches to the left side of the boat. i did it that way so the person on front doesnt get in any way of the trolling motor when in stowed position.

Yes, if I did it again I would put it on an angle like yours. I almost always fish by myself but the angled design gives more room inside the boat. Thanks for sharing!
