agreed. I like both styles but this format makes it very straight forward. I usually cant get past a single chord because it just sounds off as I have no idea what Im doing.

Having a good ear is so helpful and in the context u can go beyon a single chord by practicing progressions and the 3-4 or 4-3 rule i mean the triads

I think they are using the factory presets that LMMS came with. There are a variety of presets, from any of the built-in instruments, but I don't use them.

@@arnoldxode The internal midi keyboard one, where you played the melodies. Sorry if it's not clear, but just the white and black keys on the side. Where they have all the names. I also use LMMS and my piano only has the notes like C5 C4 etc. Not the ones in green where it has the other letters

We beginners are looking for a tutorial that shows how to make a type beat from scratch using the instruments that came with LMMS right from the download. Sorry but y'all just click bait

as long as you get the concept bro, its always easy to switch up, whether i use external plugin or stock its all the same as far as workflow is concerned and it shouldn't be an issue to trip about, and besides that most plugin i use are free and i add the link in description try em out.....luck
