Question, when it comes for the portfolio for the programmers, you did say to get a custom domain, buy a domain or those two sites that you recommended. But I did get a recommendation from a friend of mine(tho this friend of mine went for designer) that I should use Wix. And I have created my basic portfolio from there. But would you still recommend that I would still look into get a custom domain, try out those two sites that you recommended. Or would you say that Wix is also fine, even tho it might be more towards for the designers side?

Hey, I have a question: at 14:20, you say that we have to set our goals about what kind of job we want (either 3D environment, 3D character design or 2D art). But what if I'm not sure yet what I like the most or what if I like a bit of everything? What do I put in my portfolio? Is it okay to put different art styles? Also, my arts are really diverse, for instance, while I enjoy making cute arts, I also like making evil creatures, etc

Hello Anna! It's quite natural, and a good idea, to experiment with a variety of art in the beginning...with most game artists, it takes a while to figure out a specialty. From the point of view of getting a job at a game studio, however, some focus is usually necessary, as most game art hires are for specialized roles like character art, environments, and also either 2D or 3D. So, I would suggest choosing one specialty such as 2D Character art of a specific style (Cartoony) for example, and really going deep into it so that you can increase your chances of getting a job in that specialization. You can keep practicing other 'evil' stuff though!!

Hi Malharsingh, doing a masters in computer science will not help to get int game development, you have to do a game related course.

You can have your own art style but if you want a job at come point especially in games then you will have to make art of different styles, so best to have some range and versatility.
