How To Make A Potato Chip Tortilla with José Andrés

James Beard Award-winning chef José Andrés makes a Spanish style tortilla in the MUNCHIES Test Kitchen, but with a time-saving fix, by using potato chips instead of having to cook potatoes. This simple dish takes 30 minutes or less and uses only four ingredients: eggs, extra virgin olive oil, sea salt, and sweet potato chips.

Ok so... I'm gonna say it... I know José wanted to keep the secret but I'm gonna tell everybody... The superior way to make a tortilla is to just use potato and onion. Cut and fry the potatos. Then cut an onion and fry it until it becomes translucid. Now just follow Jose's guide. You can cook it a bit more but the tortilla should always drip when you cut it (it's not gonna taste like raw egg). Enjoy.

No me cabe duda de que las tortillas que hago yo están mejores, pero esta preparación es mucho más rápida y sencilla, apenas requiere utensilios, y seguro que está mil veces más rica que comerse los chips a puñados directamente de la bolsa.
