I find my time in private to speak or let my self weep is in the shower ,When having time to yourself . Bathroom door shut and lock, candlles are nice also.

Hi Karolyne!❤ My name is juan, and i currently live in a group home ...it is a pretty descent sized apartment home, where i have my own room for now, but i love your tips ...i also keep my radio on the christian station ...102.5 here in Atlanta ...and iam able to listen to Erica Campbell on weekday mornings as iam getting up, and my room is my prayer room! I verbalize everything i need to talk to God about in my room, and iam blessed to have my quiet place here❤ thanks for reading📚

This was SO helpful. As a "new" Christian, I loved the idea of a prayer closet, but needed the reminder of anointing it! Thank you so very much for all of your thoughtful suggestions. I will be moving to my own little place soon, but for now I am sharing a room with family. I decided to make a prayer "room" out of a decorative box I already had, filling it with a notebook and prayer cards, etc. I use the inside lid as place to stick post-it- note reminders and favorite scripture verses. I can't wait to get started!

I really love these ideas, thank you so much for sharing! I love the idea of playing Christian music in the background while you’re studying God’s Word; I was thinking of doing that today since t was my first day of really digging deeper into God’s Word, however, I find it too distracting. So instead I have a calming piano playlist going in the background, and I forgot to this time, but I’m going to listen to a few worship songs after each session just to get that music aspect in there too.

Despite living alone at times it's a challenge finding a quiet space with my dog who is constantly with me after losing my other dog in July. Yesterday I decided to go on the back patio and the song that was on my lips was "Holy Spirit Thou Art Welcome in this Place". I began singing and it certainly set and charged the atmosphere for worship. You gave some great tips that I will consider and try as this video was God's answer to my prayer earlier this morning. How sad! I understand what you might be going through. It was my dog and I for almost 17 years but I was encouraged to put her down last September. 😪 It's really quiet now! God bless your living dog, he just wants to be under mama & have her love! ❤
