If you soak your strings in a little oil before you place them on your bread they release easier

So beautiful artistic and clever, it is very do able except my dough never even after 13 months of baking sourdough double batches 4 times a week comes out that perfect and scoreable.. I’ve baked so many recipes and have been doing the Tartine method lately. As far as great tasting and great open crumb the 97% hydration is my choice but almost unscoreable.. I’ve baked 100% whole grains for years in the past they were very problematic but I mastered the them. Now I’m using high quality white bread flour. So what’s your advise please.😜

@@lindawilson3071 this was my first temp at scoring and the actual design ...maybe it was beginners luck.....

@@lindawilson3071 I would advise to reduce your hydration! 97% is crazy high. Start around 70-75% and see how you like that... These loaves are 75%!

I just made mine and I LOVE IT! Mine sort of opened up and cracked. Still stunning! But was I supposed to score it deeper when decorating or is there a way for it to not spring open? Also, I think it’s time for a pumpkin sourdough recipe!!! 😍😍

For gifting this a week before thanksgiving, how should the recipient store it to be eaten on thanksgiving?

Helpful instructions but I would have liked to have seen you put it in your bread pan. How big is it? Ceramic or DO?

I made this but the kitchen twine left fuzzies in the bread. How do I prevent that?

Same! I tried soaking them in oil but that didn't help either :/
