You explained the procedure very well but I have some doubts. First by adding 40 gms caustic soda & 15 gms Baking soda,the PH of solution will be higher as we only adding 5 gms of Citric acid. How much PH of solution should be & how much PH you suggest

Hello citric acid is a tribasic acid there for 64 g of this neutralise 40 g of caustic soda. Using sodium bicarbonate as pH regulator is an useful exercise.

i have made this detergent using step by step instructions. the end result was thick liquid with a high foaming result. i made 5l for own use. after about a week the liquid lost its foam and turned thin liquid. how do i correct this? i see another user commented the same issue. would appreciate a response. i would'nt want to throw away this.
