How to Make a Quilted Pocket Potholder with Old Towel

The color of the towel goes so well with the fabric! May I ask how long the cotton has been in your stash? I bought 4 or so yards of that exact fabric years ago and I recently pulled it out to make a slipcover for my yarn swift. Seeing it in a thumbnail was a very pleasant surprise!
