I just want to thank you for making these kind of videos, Im doing a naked snake costume and really don't want to spend a bunch on a chest rig and your videos are really helping me to get a basis on how to do it!

Had to Google naked snake to figure out why a reptile would need a recce rig lol. Glad to help.

So I followed this step by step (except sandwhiching the buckle webbing in the body panel and using a foam insert) and the end result is great. My stitch lines are a little curvy and I could've definitely used less thick webbing for the molle and buckle attachments but it came out pretty good anyway. I'm using a sailrite lsz1, 1000d cordura nylon in coyote, fastex buckles, and sailrite heavy duty polypropylene webbing.

Fantastic tutorial, I'm going to try my hand at this. Doubt you'll see this due to the video age, but I do have a question(s): What kind of foam are you using for the insert, where can I buy some, and is it necessary? I've got the other materials but I don't know if not adding foam would cause problems.
@thriftyoperator637

It is wood flooring underpayment. Any flexible thin foam will work.

I'm about to build a custom scr from surplus pouches and a fat strap h harness, with two 3 mag molle plackards with the back modified with a mesh liner back with a zipper on the inside edge for admin pouches. But I'd pay to buy one you made set up the m this way.
