Pass it through any digital bass amp, find one you like, cut all the high frequencies and very compressed.

As simple as kontact piano vst's from Native Instruments. They will handle reggae. Virtual piano instruments can sound pretty accurate even though they sounds "cheap". Sometimes simplicity sounds just right!
