@@Vole008 Appreciate the feedback! I suppose I could always change the sensitivity to remove that. Typically it's not an issue with my tutorials. As far as $100 headsets go with mic's built in I think it sounds pretty good. I have had a few headsets and this one is by far my favorite. Although and actual mic with a pop filter would be best, just don't have the money for that haha.

if anyone is having trouble with the forge server install not doing anything try maybe closing all your file windows, and if that does work then just add a new folder in the server pack folder, for some reason that made the forge file and minecraft_server file appear.

Haha it actually didn’t work out like that since avg view time is what matters. Most are not watching till the end and video ends before 10min then I dragged it out intentionally to see if making it 10min would matter, it didn’t 🤣 the end has a funny message though if you wanna skip and see. I try to keep my tutorials as short as possible with very little time spent mentioning server hosts or to subscribe since I hate the fact that most tutorial youtubers be wasting your time + they don’t respond to comments or help you if you run into issues. there are alternatives. Most routers unless you're on public wifi or satellite support port forwarding it just may be a little differnet, such as needing to use the internet provider's specific app. However alternatively you can use Hamachi or Playit.gg, I recommend playit.gg if just a couple friends.

Hey, so around 3:10 the download for the forge 1.12.2 installer goes to my default browser, which is fire fox. When i tried to open the installer, it directs me to firefox and says to save file. When you make the run documment, first save the run, then save as run.bat ( the run.txt should have the same text in it as run.bat )

Nevermind! Solved that issue, but the issue I'm now having is port forwarding. I found where it is for my router, in the WAN section, but for custom configuration it has: Service Name (done) Protocol (done) External Port Internal Port Internal IP Address Source IP

Correct as long as it doesn’t conflict with any mods in the modpack and is also for the correct version of minecraft as most mods have a different download for many different versions of minecraft.

when I play the server it seems to work fine and some of the visual mods seem to be working. I can see mana bar in the bottom left, but when I try to right click flint into stone it won't turn it into flint shards which the mod usually does

You can run it on the laptop. I would close every program on the laptop and just run the server with 7G ram as the Xmx. Since you’re on the same network you will actually use the laptop’s name as the ip. To get the name right click the window icon in the bottom left and select “system”.

Unfortunately your boys need a pc, minecraft java and bedrock are different, although a vanilla server can cross-play with the right plugins, mods must be installed client-side to work which is impossible on console.

I followed step by step, even tried everything twice. Me and my friend cant attack any mobs. When you made you run.bat I double click it like you do and it doesnt run the server. Instead, I run the jar server file which runs our server and hes able to join. We just cant attack any mobs. I typed everything EXACTLY the same. My folder is located in the same location. Everything is downloaded correctly.

Everything is done and set, but my server appears offline despite everything being done correctly, right port forward, right IPV-4 , etc, the server is up only for me, but when i check its status on mc status or anywhere else, even for my friends, its offline, any help would be appreciated

The server status checkers are always 100% accurate. It is possible that you have something such as a third party antivirus program like mcafee that is still blocking it. If so you can create rules in mcafee to allow the port through it. If you just have windows defender it’s unlikely that that’s blocking it however you can still allow the ports through your normal firewall as well to be sure.

That’s the point, it is intended to be that way. However you can use the console to op yourself and then use the tp command. Example: op decacrafter (in console) then in-game do: /tp DecaCrafter FriendName. Or in console just tp instead of opping. In console commands don’t use a “/“, that’s only for in-game
