Thanks. I actually know how to script, but I never made room generation or entities before. Taking a look at and editing the code in the kit used was pretty fun and helped me learn a couple things while fixing bugs that probably shouldn’t have been there in the first place.

@@aiohwa yeah you can make pretty much anything out of this kit, I usually avoid using kits but this was actually a great starting point for Rooms: Unlimited (a rooms fangame I’m working on)

I liked how I had to fix some things in the kit, as it helped me learn how the code works and what not to do. A little guide on my fan game, Treacherous rooms. A-15: A-15 is a purple frowning entity. Upon arrival, He will make a beeping sound. During his slow trudging to the current room, he makes loud cracking noises. Originally used to not rebound, but now rebounds 2 times. [haven't made sure he rebounded due to a bug of the door not letting me open it, probably because i'm using my dad's hotspot.] Next, A-40. A-40 was originally gonna rebound, but keeps getting stuck. He appears to switch from cyan to blue. Next, A-70 Is a locker checking entity, but he always gets stuck in the current room, managing to softlock the server. [MIGHT ADD MORE SOON!]

I know why A-40 might be getting stuck. Change the value of BeginningRoom which is in the asset folder inside replicated storage to StartingRoom.

i found some things that you tought you dont have to change 1. in SoundService set DistanceFactor to 0.5 The Entities will have Now can not very far to hear 2. Its able to edit C section to a random letter (do not use A as the same main section , it could break or idk) also the rooms and more 3. you can make entity transforms with script

hey there. ths tutorial is good. however i have a small problem with rebounding entities. i have a rebounding entity that spawns and should do 4 rebounds from spawn room to current room. but when it reaches the current room im at it just does its 4 rebounds in the current room. how do i fix it? i renamed a-40 to a-35.

ive used a kit similar to this one and all a-40 did was rush to the room and never despawn instead of rebounding once [its because his mechanic broke]

ok i noticed how entity's doesn't despawn once hitting the door (just the first entity so far) and the others flat out don't spawn at all (i didnt make any custom entitys yet so im using the ones in the pack as a test since im just changing the looks of the generated rooms) Edit: im useing this pack as a means to learn how to code. i kinda suck or dont have knowledge on dealing with scripts (mostly cus i dont know how to use or understand variables like function)

its because room generation is happing too fast for example i had my speed at 100 and each room would appear as 1 for ten rooms but then i set my speed to 16 then the numbers where correct so just set your speed to 16 or 20

the weirdest thing about the kit is the rebiunds broke for me for example what happens is if a entity gets to the last room it just like noclips through the last not opened door and then get stuck and deosnt despawn its weird
