Really nice design! I use wire cutters to cut the popsicle sticks, it's faster than using a hacksaw. I do use a hacksaw (or usually just a metal jigsaw blade) for cutting the notches though. Here's a tip: use white glue or preferably, wood glue to make it stronger. The drying process can be speed up by putting what you glued on a plate on top of a toaster for 10 or so minutes, just not in the toaster or with bread in it.

You can use any glue, as long as it sticks

it will take a hell of a long time if your not careful. make sure to get a quick drying glue, like super glue

With a rubberband from the end of the trigger to the handle you'll have the effect of the trigger going back. Obviously you'd have to slightly change the design.

I made a comfy handle grip rubber bands, and a spring/ rubber band to pull the trigger back so you don't have to push it back

i used a rubber band to put trigger back to front by makeing two groves at the gun tip and i put a rubber band on the lowwer grove then put the other end on the trigger so i dont have to put the trigger back in place each time
