I recently shot my first short film and I basically figured much of this stuff out through sweat and tears. I did look at some templates but they didn't appeal to me. Your explanations are really great. Thank you so much. I will definitely borrow a couple of things from here that I didn't think to do.

@@TheNerdyFilmmaker I'm in the editing stage and adding music & other sounds. So far, I really love how it's coming together. The biggest mistake I made, which I saw you covered in one of your videos, was trying to shoot too much in one day. I had to scratch some shots on my list as the day wore on and I realized how fast we were running out of daylight. I'll definitely break the shots down across a couple of days next time.

That's a great camera, despite it being "budget". The only real downsides for video is how much it crops in 4K, and that it doesnt have image stabilization (so if you wanted to do moving shots, you'll need a gimbal or slider to make it smooth). But you should be able to make some dope music videos with that!

Heyo, thanks for the feedback! I'd figured since the entire video is describing it section by section and that I was holding it towards the camera, it'd be enough. But in future videos I'll be sure to include closeups when talking about documents like this.
