That ring is not actually a signet ring, a signet ring would have some sort of graphic engraved into the stone so that it could then be used to impress that image into a seal on a letter. Without the engraving in the stone that is just a ring not a signet ring thoug.. it could easily become a signet ring if you do the engraving into the stone also. PLEASE where do you get such perfect lapis lazulai, all I can get is slightly blue chalky looking stuff :(

Historically signet rings were always engraved with the signature of the wearer; however, that doesn't necessarily have to be the case these days.
