Welcome to my first episode of my Bow Making Series.
Today's video is a quickie but a goodie.
How to make a simple bow in five minutes. I have been asked so so so many times, probably the biggest request that I receive, how I make my bows. I am not an expert bow maker, and I do not have all those bow making tools...just me and my hands...lol.
So to fulfill this request...I have made a simple and easy to follow tutorial on how you can make your own bow in less than five minutes using wired ribbon.
Have fun creating your bows!!!!!
MATERIALS USED:
2.5" Wire ribbon
Scissors
Pipe cleaner

I have hundreds of dollars worth of arts and crafts materials, artificial foliage, beautiful flowers, vases, frames, RIBBONS…My Gosh ribbon wheels GALORE!…Such as silk, polyester, burlap, cotton you name it I’ve got it on a wheel. Right! Absolutely agree! I mean, even the ones titled "Easy" seemed a little too much to do, and involved. More work than should be, in putting embellishment where there isn't any embellishments at all! And too much effort into something that should otherwise be so simple and stress free. They should have never added the word "EASY" in their titles at all. And the time they took to do it in? Wow! Then this video pops up and lives up to the "Easy" part. Thank you Dave!

Dave - working flat on a table makes so much more sense than trying to crimp and squeeze ribbon material in between my thumb and forefinger, which never worked out for me.

Loved this video! I have tried to make bows before. I gave up thought it was too hard. I have been paying for the lady at Hobby Lobby to make them for me. $5.00 a bow. Wow how easy this video makes it for me. I am gonna try to make a bow now. I have some new ribbon I was going to take to Hobby Lobby again.
