How to make a simple flower arrangement in a Pin Holder, Kenzan, Floral Frog

This is the first time I've filmed a tutorial using a Pin Holder, Kenzan or Floral Frog..
These are all different types of reusable mechanics to hold your flowers in place. They are environmentally friendly, sustainable and don't end up in landfill.

Pin holder is a Japanese flower arrangement material. Its called kenzan. I don't know why it is also called floral frog. This is excellent material for a sustainable flower arrangements. The Royal horticultural society mentioned pin holder in their Chelsea flower show this year.

You are so welcome. There are lots of types of Pin holders, (as I call them) but its also known as the proper name Kenzan. You can get ones that are flat and even bevelled ones to sit in a dish, there are square ones, rectangular ones, mini ones and extra large ones.

The RHS have became foam free to encourage less use of single use plastic, so promoting all types of pin holders would be extremely beneficial to arrangers planning on attending.

I would have cut off the top small iris that flows to the side and added it in low at the side. I feel it would look better, no offence. I am not a florist.
