If you have problem with LEDs, make the connections as follows. Make sure negative end of LED connected with collector of transistor and positive end of both LED to the vcc.

photo diode grinded so that it can receive maximum light form both LED.

I have connected all these connections using breadboard , the red led is on but it isn't showing any reading in oled when I inserted my finger it's showing only insert finger . The photo diode is not sensing anything how can I rectify this

check polarity of photo diode. and block any other light source.
