i like this one a lot, the color really does make it look like an eroded skull and then the slightly cartoony look to it pulls it together with a cool contrast. really cool for me at first thinking it was going to be a basic mask.

In my experience with spray paint, it's best to avoid mixing different brands if you can since the paints and finishes are formulated to work best with their brand counterparts, that may have been why the other lacquer screwed up the mask

The problem could also have been that one or more layers of paint on the mask hadn't dried fully when you applied the sealer; its something people frequently run into with models and miniatures if they apply the sealer coat before everything has had a chance to fully dry. Some times it can be corrected with subsequent layers of sealer; assuming you're using the same type (i.e. lacquer/enamel/acrylic etc) it will usually at least partially reactivate the previous layers enough that the haze or frosting disappears.

I think what you should do for the nuclear mask is make the Chevrons like nuclear logo so like black Chevrons and then like a yellow mask then maybe put a black dot In the middle something like that

This mask looks like a cross between Casey Jones and the Punisher in my eyes. Anyways Big Hush nicely done on this mask and I still will love to see both a Godzilla inspire Jason mask and of course the Ultimate Warrior. But I know there will be better ideas than those two and that's cool.

Got a challenge for you make one that looks like it was made from strips of wood by adding wood grain & maybe even some nail heads for realism or make one to look like sheets of steel by adding cut eva foam circles or uniformed drops of epoxy make excellent rivet heads once hardened & painted up. Epoxy rivet heads are easy to make mix a small batch of epoxy and use a match to apply then pull away when you reach a desired diameter but remember perfection is not really needed cuz imperfections only add to the piece. 😁✌
