Hi and thanks for the tutorial, but even though I’m following the video part by part I’m still having trouble after setting the stills at 3 seconds, then dragging my images, it will not change from 10 second to 3 second playback? Therefore I’m having to manually adjust each image to 3.8 seconds, any suggestions would be appreciated.

Select your images in the timeline, press Control D, enter 3 0 0 and press Enter.

Great video but I am not sure why my photo duration remains 10 seconds when I checked that the preferences setting is 3 seconds. I can't find what is overriding that setting

strange. Try restarting FCP and make sure you'r not selecting 10 seconds worth of your image in the browser

Hi there. When I choose the “fill “ option it well sometimes cut out part of the picture that I want in the frame, so how do I manipulate the picture while keeping the same aspect ratio, and still keeping the black bars from showing on the sides?

Are you trying to make the Stylized Transition? If yes, you have to drag the numbered pins(1 to 5) to your clip so that it can be displayed on the slideshow. Tell me how it goes.
