this video is a reminder for all producers to learn that music theory
@redbigapplefloppa302 Жыл бұрын
1. google "neo soul scales" and set it on piano roll 2. google "(neo) soul time signatures" and set it (actually 4/4 is just fine) 3. listen to 5 neo soul songs or beats and make out which instruments/sounds are most common. there you go, no need for music theory

I only discovered your channel yesterday but I'm already impressed. And from yesterday to today you've already jumped from 4k to 6k subscribers, so clearly I'm not the only one that can recognise your efforts and talents. There's hundreds of channels on KZbin surrounding beat making and tutorials, probably even more that try to inject some form of humour into that content. However, despite that, your channel manages to come across as a breath of fresh air in this particular creative space. In just the last 24 hours I've watched a ton of your videos and there is just something about them that makes learning from them so easy. You take absolutely amazing compositions and musical pieces you've written and flip all of their creativity and hard work on its edge through your humour and carefree video style, and it makes for tutorials that are really user friendly and intuitive to follow along to without being too daunting or technical. You've struck a perfect balance between informative tutorials, really well produced music and a style of humour / approach that makes the hardest beats I'd never think I could recreate when hearing them so simple to follow along to, if that makes sense? I'm really glad I've found your channel, especially at a point in time when it is still relatively small because it's obvious from your content that you're on to a winning formula here. Please keep this up and keep doing what you're doing, there's always an abundance of music production KZbinrs but it's really refreshing to find one that has their own niche like yours does.
@alexl2052 Жыл бұрын
exactly what I’ve been sayin- this man is a huge breath of fresh air for producer KZbin- no clickbait, no bullshit, he just gets straight to the point with simple and funny videos that teach me more in less time, plus the beats are way better than any I’ve seen from the big producer KZbin channels
