Hi, Humidity, weather and sweetness level plays a great part in buttercream selection. Some of my cakes are American buttercream others are Swiss Meringue buttercream.

Did you add the part that you connected the head to after you put the fondant on the whole cake?

Hi @wetmee333 the head was connected the moulded snake body that ended at the top of the cake. Still the same spiral 🌀 form all the way to the top and inserted the head at end so it looks like the head is popping out.

@thecaketrail I'd really like to see how you spiraled it at the top. The video jumped to after that part....I actually attempted to make this but the cake was too mushy and my ganache was too runny. I did not roll out my fondant wide enough to fit around the cake. Needless to say it was a hot mess!! 😂 Thank you for responding back to me. 😊
