We recommend you use scissors to cut off the excess cord and not a knife and when heat sealing the cords ends we strongly recommend you do this outside in a well ventilated space and be very cautious around a naked flame. Please also be aware that the paracord will be extremely hot and could cause burns if it comes into contact with your skin.
