They killed my horse twice, the first time I was able to revive him but the second time that option didn’t come up. Is he permanently dead? Edit: I have now learned that there is a horse revival item.

Same thing for GTAO, honestly. They're a billion dollar company but they can't seem to pull themselves in the right direction to have competent online gaming infrastructure. For a AAA studio that made this much money, you'd think they would spare no expense to make things work. RDO's multiplayer framework should be an embarrassment because they should've learned the lessons of GTAO's failures but they haven't.

Lol.. Yep I panic also. Im new online, im at level 15. my first trip to valentine i went in waving at everyone being friendly, 2 mins later my horse got stolen and I caught a slug in the head, I just wanted to sell some pelts. Now I use defensive mode and set my horse for me only. I stay away from towns and if I see another player I panic and ride the other way.

During a sale it’s either 1. Kill players on sight and if they were nice they aren’t now because they have to throw a conniption fit, chase you down, kill you, and burn the wagon. 2. Don’t kill on sight and they end up killing you and burning down your wagon anyway.

As has been said here already; on PS4 set up a manual network connection, yes to all the defaults except change MTU to 750 and voila! nobody else in your online session. Make loads of money, take it easy, do all the things, without looking over your shoulder all the time and/or getting constantly gang raped. When you want to play with your mates, set MTU back to 1500. Simples.

It's stupid they FORCE you to play in a lobby and with people you don't want to. They should hire good developers that allow you to chose only those you wish to LET join you. Guess that's why story mode is most popular and better.

In between my trader role and moonshine last night I lost over $2k to people rolling up and blowing up the carts. It’s hard to do anything in this game without expecting to have to discipline some little dumb kid that just picked the game up, I just want to chill and play with my character. I’d do it in offline, like the first game, but they really removed gang hideouts anything fun to do.

Use the connection settings trick. I was using it with gta and I've tried today with RDO. It works great! You'll always be alone and it will spawn all the coves/legendary animals and random encounters that you want. It really change the game

All people have to do is stop with this running around it does nothing to help a player stay or not in a solo session. I've have found all a player needs to do once they have started the game is choose their camp to start playing once they have launched the game. Turn off all invites Friends or posse in settings incoming or out going. Because this is how the game tries to force you into a public session all the time. And this method works for only single player and you cannot invite friends. Then go into Change Appearance and back this starts you in a new solo and unpopulated session and then go to Horley in Black Water right away, if you already haven't and he'll give you a mission which requires the player to be in a solo session to complete which means it is not time limited accept the mission and this puts your session into solo perinatally that is until you finish Horley's mission. If you have already done the mission to help the sheriffs, then stranger Joe has one that requires a player be in a solo session to do, just don't finish the mission again. Using this method saves you a lot of grief without downloading mods or having to stay in your camp or your camps area. It works 100% and a player can roam the entire map and do all they need to do. from finding tressure's to finishing all stranger mission and gain more levels And all a player has to do to renter the same solo session is to repeat entering Change Appearances and exist it again when they restart their game and this will start them where they left off again. Pretty simple.

Not related, but still annoying... there's no way to change your character gender without deleting your current character. My friend abandoned RDO and let me take over her account: but I want to play as a guy since I am a guy, however I did a bit on her character and would hate to lose that progress. They should just add a second character slot since in the intro there were 2 people brought into the police station.

It only works if people don't want to join or you have to do the change appearance again after a matter of time because people are catching on to this with people doing this trick and now hackers or grief givers now look for low population sessions, even blocking the ports to get a solo session does not work anymore.

No, you just exit before customize your charachter. But if you're on ps4 the best way to be in a solo lobby is to change your connection options. Choose manual setting and set MTU at 800. I just tried and it works, it will spawn legendary animals, coves and all the free rom events easy

Got the onyx, recently got the moonstone, which is when I found out there’s a 72 hour cool-down between legendary animals of the same species, so im not gonna be able to find the emerald wolf until at least tomorrow night 😂
