I've been wearing a knot ring always wondered how they were made

I bet there is more than one way to tie this style ring together; this is my take on the process and it's certainly easy enough. Thanks (as always) for watching!

I made a few of these a while back. I transitioned to a D wire on the sides for the bottom of the ring.

I bet that looked really nice with the D wire!

Nicely done. A suggestion about soldering. Make a sandwich 🥪. No really lol. Flame piece solder. The solder always flows towards heat when unaffected by anything else. Usually why when it's possible people always position the solder below while the flame is above.

Yea, I'm definitely going to make a note of my "sandwich" next time. I've been struggling with simple joints and I haven't been paying attention to that detail. Thanks for the tip, and thanks for watching!

@@mustachemetalworks Welcome and thank you for sharing. I'm just now learning the difficulties of filming projects and how it can effect the process. So ya even if proficient that is something I must consider when viewing another's content.

I shoot with a 100mm macro lens on a cheap dslr, so I can keep the camera pretty far from the work. This helps me keep the camera far away from swinging hammers and fire. I still seem to get my hands in the shots though. Contortionism would be a good skill for me to practice.
