Christ, same. I worked in a glass studio for 5 years. When I saw these dudes going at a mirror with a pencil cutter I immediately started sweating.

Idk if you need/want a tip, but here's a trick I learned working for a window company years ago. For cutting out hard angles, drill a small hole at the inside point in the heart, then score to the hole and break. You most likely need to tap the score line to break, but we had to cut out 90° angles for shower doors every day and it gets easier the more you do it ☺️

This is so great! So neat!! After foiling burnish it so the foil won’t lift Next time please use a mask when grinding and soldering. Can possibly get lead poisoning and glass dust isn’t the greatest to breathe in ,Take precautions!! When I started I would always go back to sun bear glass craft she gives lots of good tips and stained glass diy great for beginners!
