This ia the recipe of masala chai! It is basically the indian national drink and that’s where Starbucks got the idea! Chai tea translates into basically tea tea / chai means tea So it s chai latte or masala chai :) Pro tip: use real Ceylon cinnamon please it’s healthier for your liver When you order it online or buy it specify REAL CEYLON CINNAMON

FYI : Chai comes from the Hindi word meaning “tea.” While the exact origin of traditional masala chai is up in the air, original chai tea owes its roots to South Asia.

FYI : Chai came from China somewhere in BC Chai in Chinese Cha in korean Chai in Hindi

Chai is not just a Hindi word. India has more than 20+ languages and in most it is Chai, also it is the same for many Asian languages.
@ugaas30742 жыл бұрын
Lol every countries and language they called the same name chai even in Arabic language. But everyone knows that its origin is from China, they are the first to use it, so stop Lying
@nainadhaliwal9625 Жыл бұрын
@@ugaas3074just cause they’re not talking about the word origin does not mean they’re lying, your comment sounds like an attack so I would suggest rephrasing it. Chai is usually pronounced cha in all of Asia. The starbucks chai tea (tea tea) tastes like the tea I drink everyday as an Indian so I think that’s what they based the drink off of so they’re correct. But if you’re from China and can say Chinese chai tastes the same that would be great to learn

Haha I’m indian and obsessed with this drink. I never tried chai at the coffee shops coz they have ruined it. But loved the starbucks one. FYI Chai means tea. Soo there. We call this masala (spices) chai. Also, cardamom seeds need to be smushed, it has tiny black seedy things in which brings the flavor and smell.

You forgot to grind everything up. The ratio is also whack. 1.5 tsp of nutmeg? 1tsp of ginger?? For three cups? That is a lot. Never ever leave these spices whole in some kind of soak for Chai. You boil it all in MILK. The tea is the pour off. This is why it won’t work with all that ready creamer shit. You also totally forgot black pepper. Nice try but no. At least for anyone who actually knows what Chai is. This is why these beverages are strong at professional places. The concentrate is already created fresh tea and cream options are freshly added .
