hi i made a fondant shoe yesterday how long does it take to dry i went to take it of the drying rack today and its started to crack on top sole near the heel how do i fix it or do i start again kind regards mandy xx

+Robert Moffatt Hi Mandy, if you used fondant it will take a long time to dry completely, maybe after a week or so. What would have sped up the drying process is if you used tylo mixed with the fondant, or used gumpaste. I would suggest you start again as I’m thinking even if you repaired it, the structure may not be as stable. Also could the sole have been rolled out too thinly? So sorry, let me know how it works out or if you need any more advice x

The original link I had isn’t working, so may be best to go to eBay and type in-Diamante-Rhinestone-Crystal-Colour-Chain-Trim-Lace-Gold-Base- hopefully it will bring up something similar. I used a 2/3mm I think . Thank you.
