Simple and straight to the point and beautiful! I love the way you explained everything and put this noodle board together in a jiffy, aside from letting the stain and acrylic dry. I'm a DIYer and promised my daughter I would make something for her new home and thought about making this. I was looking for ideas and inspiration on KZbin, but not before I measured and remeasured my stove a hundred times, lol, before coming upon your channel. You make it look so easy! I will definitely use your instructions especially knowing I can save money by buying just one board since wood has now doubled or tripled in price than two years ago...but to keep it under $20 is still a steal, compared to how much they are going for on Etsy. Now I can make one for her and one for myself too =) Thanks so much for the informative and educational video! God bless...Blanca

Man that was so easy. I’m making my my stove cover now but with vertical 1x4 with a hole to act as the handle. But thanks for this, this is way easier. The stop with the miter saw was genius. I’m a beginner wood worker and said to myself wow I didn’t think of that, I was measuring and drawing a line or would put the first cut piece on top of the full board and would butt it up against the saw blade but this takes all those steps away. Thanks for the tips!

Looks great and glad to see you're using the splitter on the table saw. Only personal aspect I'd add would be to stain before you add the side boards on there permanently as you have a lot of areas showing where the stain was missing. Otherwise great work.

He always makes thing like a piece of furniture. That’s ok. Just takes a bit longer. I did have one that warped? He’s working on that. I think my vertical board, from the end was warped a little. I made that one by myself. He wouldn’t have used that board...lol. Oh well. Hey, much thanks. Love the woodwork. Your video was so much easier and made this cheaper to make. Always appreciate that. I know this is gonna sound crazy, but I keep a melamine foam brick and a box melamine sheets by my wash sink for the stubborn ink/dye/stain patches that just won’t rinse away so easily. It’s the equivalent of 3000 grit sandpaper. Run it and your hands under the tap for a second, then shake off the excess; add a bit of the right kind of soap/solvent for the particular stain and scrub gently. It is is extremely helpful for removing ash dyes and gentian violet… a life saver. Also - exfoliates! Treat yo’self! I
