How to make a String Pieced Potholder

I do like your tutorial One question can you do a top stitch instead of a hand sew

Yes, you could fold in the edges and top stitch around the entire potholder. Happy Sewing!

Good but not perfect. Once you turn it right-side-out and hand sew the opening, you should topstitch between a few stipes and all around the potholder edge with a 1/4 " topstitch.
